Dr. Kelly Wright has been practicing family medicine in her home town of Vashon since 1998. The best part of her job is working with generations of patients, and seeing the benefits of natural medicine for whole families. She loves her work, and feels privileged to own an integrative clinic that brings family health care to Vashon Island. She provides primary care to patients of all ages, and treats all conditions.
Dr. Wright earned a BA in Psychology from The Evergreen State College in 1990, and her BS in Health Sciences from Bastyr University in 1993. After graduating with her Naturopathic Doctorate from Bastyr in 1998, she taught in the Bastyr medical program, and was the Supervising Physician of the Bastyr Dispensary. Dr. Wright served for several years on the Editorial Board of The Journal of Naturopathic Medicine, and is currently a consultant for both corporate entities and non-profit organizations.
She was the first ND recipient of the Washington State Health Professionals Loan Repayment Program in 2005 for her work providing free and discounted medical care to the Vashon community. In an effort to bring accessible and quality health care to Vashon Island over the years, Dr. Wright has partnered with multiple agencies including the CDC, Washington State Department of Health and Vaccines For Children Program, American Academy of Pediatrics, Washington Health Care Authority/DSHS, King County Health, University of Washington, Vashon Island School District, Vashon Alliance to Reduce Substance Abuse, DoVE Anti-Domestic Violence Program, Seeds 4 Success, Vashon Social Services Network, the Vashon Maury Island Food Bank, and Vashon Youth and Family Services.
