Jan Kuhns, BSN graduated Magna Cum Laude in Nursing from the University of Wisconsin. She has worked in several different medical settings, including with specialists, in geriatrics, and in primary care since graduating with her nursing degree in 2005.  For Jan, the best part of nursing is caring for her patients, and providing them with individual treatment and support.

Jan previously worked at the Vashon Community Care Center, and now works full time with the physicians at Vashon Natural Medicine. Jan is a well loved Vashon care giver, and we are lucky to have her at VNM! As well as having 7 children and 14 grandchildren, Jan and her family live on Vashon with dogs, chickens, turkeys and ducks.
