Vanessa has been working in Structural Integration since 2007. She first began practicing this work with horses and was certified as an advanced practitioner at the Equine Natural Movement School, where she studied with Joseph Freeman (Hellerworker) and Allan Mutschler (Rolfer). After many years helping horses, dogs, and other four leggeds, achieve better balance in body and spirit, Vanessa decided to pursue her desire to share this transformative manual therapy, Structural Integration, with people.
As a SOMA Neuromuscular Practitioner, Vanessa loves helping people become free of pain and enjoy a more balanced way of being and moving. A life long equestrian and lover of athletic movement, she has found Structural Integration to be a powerful therapy for rehabilitation from injury. After many years of work in the Structural Integration field, Vanessa continues to feel enthusiasm and fulfillment from the ability to share this work with people and animals.
Vanessa has lived in the Pacific Northwest for over 25 years and currently resides on Vashon with her horses, dog Luka, and her Maine Coon Leon .
